Justin’s Treatment for Macular Degeneration

Justin currently resides in the Philippines for much of the year, and in Fayetteville, AR, for some of the year. He began treatments at the Arkansas Acupuncture Center  in July of 2022 and comes for treatment twice a year.

He stays for a week, receiving 23 microacupuncture treatments for his degenerative eye disorders.

A few of my patients with diabetes are diagnosed with both macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. The microacupuncture treatments the patients receive help to heal the damage caused by the macular degeneration and the retinopathy. The pattern of vision loss is similar in both conditions, and both conditions respond positively to the treatments. He also receives vacuum boot therapy for his diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
