Acupuncture and Alternative Health Care Services Specializing in MicroAcupuncture to treat vision loss from retinal and optic nerve disorders Since 2003, Arkansas Acupuncture Center has supplied clients with acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, focusing on acupuncture for vision improvement. Our treatments may improve eyesight naturally and prevent vision loss.
At Arkansas Acupuncture Center, our files are filled with success stories of people who found help and hope for visual impairment. Thousands of people have traveled to Northwest Arkansas from all over the world to receive MicroAcupuncture, a specialized form of Acupuncture that can enhance vision in patients suffering from retinal and optic nerve disorders.
MicroAcupuncture treatment is not a cure, but has proven effective in treating damage from a number of vision problems:
● Geographic Atrophy
● Macular Degeneration
● Retinitis Pigmentosa
● Stargardt’s Disease
● Glaucoma
● Diabetic retinopathy
● Rod/cone dystrophy
● Optic nerve disorders
Our highly effective natural eye treatments also target many other degenerative eye diseases affecting the retina and optic nerve.
Owner Lizbeth Ryan is a fully trained and qualified practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
The Arkansas Acupuncture Center is the best alternative eye disease treatment clinic in the state because Lizbeth Ryan is trained in one of the most effective treatments available. We are one of only a few clinics dedicated to the treatment of vision loss in the United States.
Ms. Ryan trained in MicroAcupuncture with Per Otte, who along with Freddy Dahlgren developed the MicroAcupuncture treatment for macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa and other retinal and optic nerve diseases.
“I love what I do and I feel honored to help people improve their eyesight. Imagine the sadness and fear experienced by people told they will no longer be able to drive, and may eventually lose their independence. Being able to help patients experience hope and help is something for which I am truly grateful.”
Ms. Ryan is licensed by the State of Arkansas to practice Acupuncture and all related techniques. She holds a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arizona. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is trained as an emergency medical technician.
